OVERVIEW
GS615 is a gray silicone elastomer, 2-part with 1:1 mix ratio, room temperature cure or heat accelerated cure potting material, low viscosity and easy to use, flame retardant and thermal concuctive.

BENEFITS
GS615 silicone elastomer is mainly designed as potting material for EV battery pack or power supply modules, able to cure deeply. GS615 is designed to protect against moisture, environmental attack, mechanical and thermal shock as well as vibration especially where good adhesion is required. Stable and flexible from 50°C to +200°C, with excellent dielectric properties.

HANDING PRECAUTIONS
   The surface of part which is need to potting should be clean and dry。May dying the surface with heating, could use Naphtha, MEK or other proper solvents to clean the surface. Should NOT use some solvents which may dissolve or corrode the surface of parts.
   Weighing Part A & Part B, transfer to clean glass container, and blending adequately. If use high speed mixing equipment, the temperature of potting material may increase if mixed too long time, and the heat will shorten the work time.
   De-airing the mixed potting material is recommended, the vacuum is around 10mmHg.
   Should use ventilation oven to cure the potting material, trace hydrogen gas may be released, the ventilation function should be working via heating.
   Commonly, Cured silicones are suitable to long-termly working between -45°C to 200°C, short-term up to 350°C. We recommend you to conduct a small testing before material selection.
   Certain materials, chemicals, curing agents and plasticizers can inhibit the cure of addition cure adhesives. Most notable of these include: Organotin and other organometallic compounds, Silicone rubber containing organotin catalyst, Sulfur, polysulfides, polysulfones or other sulfur containing materials, unsaturated hydrocarbon plasitcizers, and some solder flux residues.

STORAGE
1.Shelf Life:12 months under 25°C.
2.Containers should be kept tightly closed and head or air space minimized.
3.Exposure to moisture could reduce adhesion and cause bubbles to form.
